Fill in the blanks below to add to my guestbook. By the way...spamming, flooding, and filling the message box with nonsense will get you banned from this page AND the Flow Forum page. So don't do it. And anyway, what possible fun could there be in writing things that are only going to get deleted, so no one will get to read them anyway. Hm? Have fun! Thanks for visiting my guestbook!

Hiya!
Yeah, I had a feeling it was the same person. I checked, and sure enuff. (See my post on the Forum.) He found the forum just a couple of weeks ago, and seem to have a 'thing' for you... lol. Sorry. No need to send me the chat logs. I do not log the chats and I don't want to start doing it. It's okay for you and Kevin, and anyone else in the chats, but I feel creepy doing it. So I don't. You know I trust you and Kevin and I appreciate what you put up with - I've been there, as you know... it comes and goes I guess. I put a trace-route logger on the er, 'person'... more I cannot say. We'll see what other interesting activity he's into on the 'net... lol.
Sad, sad. Nobody can hide anymore... aolproxy admins all caved in and made their router logs available... now nat2.srtnet.com cheerfully gives up their users. I guess that's a good thing.

Hi Jada!
Thanks for the update. I am going to try to get the GChat upgrade and see if it makes any difference. I also looked into the Banned list and for the moment, I deleted the entries that were getting Charlene blocked. I have some other stuff to look at, and maybe that will answer some of the other questions... I hope... maybe the chat software just isn't up to the task when a lot of people get on it at once, but we tested it with about 15 people and it worked okay. Weird!

From: PROXY info
I wanted to pass this along. I was curious about the number of posts that are coming from ISP's that include a 'proxy' in the header. A lot, but not all, are from AOL. One of my college friends (yes I had some!! lol) told me the other night that when he worked for AOL, their security was very sloppy. He was still able to access quite a few of their servers, at administrative level, even tho he wasn't working there for a long time. Then he told ma about Quova, which he worked on for about a year. He lost me after about 1 minute but I did understand this much: Anonymity on the internet is now a thing of the past. Apparently, Quova was designed to root out fraud in internet commerce from people exploiting proxy servers. Quova goes around this issue by monitoring the entire internet...constantly... and tracing data based on the packets, using geolocation. It doesn't matter how many routers or servers are along the route...Quova just looks for the packet across the entire web and picks up the thread again, until it arrives at the source - your computer. He said I should look up 'Tor' encryption also. But my head hurts already, lol.
If anyone had any more info on this, I'd be curious to see if it's really true. If any computer can be found this way, it's a scary thing. I like to think that we all pretty much understand that we're totally exposed on the internet, but I'd like to think my house is at least SORT OF off limits. I dunno.

I don't delete posts unless they are completely off-topic or clearly meant to stir up crap... and even then, if the target deserved it, I might let it stay, hehehe. I really don't delete a lot... I think the Forum folks are smart enuff to know when to react, and when to ignore. That's what makes my job easy and a lot more fun - knowing that people care about what happens here. My personal preference? No pictures, no videos. Just honest expression, honest questions, honest answers, honest experiences. To me, that's the biggest turn-on...in fact, I save the posts that really get to me so I can visit them again later. :)

No, they will not tell me who it was. BUT... me being me... I advised them to hold onto the logs, because of potential legal issues. They assured me that they DO in fact keep the logs of EVERY GUEST. Something to think about when you check into a Marriott!! It is NOT anonymous, in fact, the record-keeping at Marriott almost assures that a person will be identified even if they used a proxy server. Interesting.

Over the years I have tried bringing people in to help out... but ultimately, it's not fair to the 'helpers' because they end up on the wrong side of the fence no matter who they side with. Hi Mike!
We used to have more conversational posts on the Flow Forum and a lot less picture posts. I think these things just come and go and maybe we'll return to more 'informational' posts. This is something you can ask on the Forum....I think there are probably hundreds of sites, (not to mention Usenet!), where you can find what you're looking for.
I don't go looking for such sites, but they seem to find us sooner or later. Thanks for writing! And ask anything on the Forum - lots of people will be happy to help you!

Kayo,
I hope this is the right place for this question. First, I like the site. I like it mostly for the pictures but there is also some interesting information too. My question is-are there other sites like this one, with information and pictures, that deal with other aspects of sex. For instance, I am a voyeur and like watching amateur women (no pros or pro wanna-bes) sexing and having orgasms (which I think is about the most beautiful thing in the world). Are there any sites like this one with information and pictures and where one can ask questions? Or, if you don't know, do you know how I could find out? Thanks for any help!

Hiya! No, there is no way to see the chat before you logged in. The software uses 'push' technology and only refreshes the text from the last 30 seconds or so. We don't log the chat on the server either...I think it's just wrong to do that, but it's okay for users to log it. So once it scrolls off the screen, the server clears it and it's gone.

Ahhh...the time issue...actually, my obsession with that goes back to the time when I got stuck with coming in on Saturday nights at one company I worked for everytime the MIS guys would change something. New hardware, software, relocated data center, etc. Had to make sure everything worked just like before, or the staff would sit around on Monday doing nothing and claiming the system didn't work.
Prior to June, the DCJ board used to be on Eastern Time. I can't remember if it was Eastern Standard Time all year long or if they did go to EDST in the summer. The only reason I mentioned Eastern time was because I got used to it before June 1st. Hey, if you want to set it to Central European Time, fine by me....lol.

I guess you saw the note I posted at MO. The chat is set permanently to safe mode, and the time-out was increased to help ppl with dial-up or other connection issues...they were getting bumped off the chat because of the long round-trip. Safe mode works ok if the entire system is running in safe mode, that's why it was done.
I dunno whats up with the clock. Owners can set their time to whatever...but everytime the server is rebooted, the time is set to PST... lol. I gave up...but...if you INSIST...I will set to EDST...for my own convenience... lol. I never look at the clock anymore. My bad.

The last thing I am going to type in this entry is the time in Eastern Daylight Savings Time. I have looked at other webmasters impletation of GT Chat and see a lot of them have chat permanently set to safe mode. It looks like it refreshes every 4 seconds. It seems to work very similar to those radio stations' websites that refresh their screen every minute with the name of the song they are currently playing.
I was hanging around on Saturday morning and did not get kicked back to the login screen until about 5 hours later. Nothing wrong with that figure. A few people came and logged in, but no one typed anything. But there were users here at 3 o'clock on Sunday morning, EDST time.
Now for the timing accuracy test, with siggy from NIST Boulder. Time I will press the sendit button: 04:00:00 EDST.

Thanks Xdresser! I did check out the GTchat forum and got some good pointers. The software is, as you say, "as is", but there is a lot that can be done with it since so much of it is plain html.
I don't think we should use someone else's chat to 'volume' test it...we can do it right here. In a few days we will ramp up the activity by bringing in some of the other forums. And keep an eye on the floor supports... lol... *fingers crossed*.
Getting booted is like, the primary function of this 'push' system, lol. I think I can set the inactivity level a lot higher and keep the dial-up accounts from getting booted. I think (not 100% sure) that the server is timing out some guests because their dial-up is too slow to make the round-trip communication with the server...so the server says, "oh, you went away...okedoke...I bump you out". I have to play with that.
DCJ may move the whole chat thingy to a new server. That may solve a lot of the other issues. Or not... we'll try anything! lol...if it all crashes, we're no worse off than we were before.
Thanks for your help...its a lot of documentation to wade through, and not very good English besides... cuz mine is perfect, nooooo... lol.

Room will be 'unlisted' but temporary. To talk to someone, you will have to use '/invite' command. No one else can get into that room. I think it's something ppl want. Kayo, love the new chat! One thing if you could have Mickie or Gremlin fix though. After there is a page of chat or more, if you grab the bar to look back up at something someone said earlier, it doesn't stay there. It runs back down to the bottom line. Kinda hard to re-read what someone wrote earlier.
On a lighter note, Susi is the cutest! You should be proud! Take care! V/R, b1rd42

Reference: New Chat Feature
From participating in some of the chats here, I believe that a chat function is a welcome addition to the features available to those who have a community on dotcomjunkies. While I do not believe I will ever be a chat person, chat definitely has its uses and certainly has many enthusiastic users.
As I've mentioned earlier, a free web browser-based chat application is preferable to installing a chat client. I tend to avoid anything today that requires me to install somebody's proprietary software on my machine. Half the time their software renders your computer inoperable or turns out to be a security risk. So, browser-based should be the preferred type of chat, regardless of what package is finally used for production.
For what we chat about here, I think this version (0.93) of GTChat has all the features we need. Continuous refresh, list of users in the room, and private messages are all we need. True, we would need a moderator if crackpots started bothering the chats, and I gather from on-line documentation that there are enough features to block out the troublemakers.
One thing I don't like about this package is that it is "as is, where is" software. Which means the hosting company must want to "play" with it to get it to run right. You can't call tech support and have an expert bail you out.
The chat application, as currently configured on DCJ's server, seems buggy. Both Kevin and I experienced performance issues. I have spent the better part of a day off exploring the software support resources for GTChat. The most common complaint from users, apart from incorrect installation, was users getting booted out of chat. There seems to be no clear explanation for this. Anecdotal information from support message boards, however, indicate "tweaking" the hosting company's server will mitigate the problem. An interesting thing from these message boards: about half the people who gave the URL for their chat application are presently no longer running chat, or are using someone elses' package. While this site is using the latest production version of GTChat (0.93), some sites are using alpha versions of the last version released, 0.95. There is even a volunteer group working to continue development on GTChat:
http://www.gtchat-developer.com/
Anyway, here is a list of support resources I found:
http://www.gtchat.org/
http://www.gtchat.de/forum_en/forum.html (archives)
http://www.gtchat.de/news_en.xhtml
http://forum.powweb.com/ (use advanced search to find entries about GTChat)
One forum that used to run GTChat now runs X7 on their site:
http://www.petcastle.net/cgi-bin/gtchat/chat.pl redirects to:
http://www.petcastlechat.net/x7ver2B/index.php
While I am debating the ethics of the following suggestion, we could get about six of us to register at some of these other sites that are running GTChat, both versions 0.93 and 0.95, to perform "volume testing".

Hi Crossdresser!
Thanks, I will look at that.
Don't use safe mode unless you are having problems with AOL. Most ppl on IE or Netscrape seem to be ok. I understand that Mozilla also is a little flaky, and you might need to hit 'refresh' once in a while because of the way the server communicates with your browser.

Here is one site I found with a lot of memebers online:
http://www.commonbronze.net/chat/
If you want to find sites which use this chat program, search for this term on Google:

I was getting logged out of GTChat and kicked back to the login screen until I rebooted my computer. I don't know if we are in regular mode or safe mode of GTChat, but safe mode is apparently resource-hungry.

re: Serverbased Chat programs
Crossdresser, you are a good guinea pig :). Yeah there were some odd glitches early on. Probably going to be more.
I think there were 3 possible chat programs considered. I wasn't part of that process, but I like the GTchat setup. It doesn't do a lot of what IRC could do - but that's ok. It doesn't open a huge gaping security leak in your OS lke IRC. I will keep playing with it to see what it can do. We're looking at the basic setup, really, the way it is right now. I really don't see any major drawbacks to GTchat. That's about all I can tell you until I really dig into the setup. I don't want to start making changes until we find out how many ppl want to use the chat program.

I'm a newbie at chat. I'm not even sure if I'll ever really like it. But, I have been trying the GTChat for the last few days. I had a few hiccups with it; not sure why it hiccupped, and I could not replicate the problems. I did a little research on the software package, as well as looked on the comments on the members' help boards.
GTChat is freeware. Somehow, I feel there is something better out there. I personally happen to like commercial software, since the documentation is generally better and the software is supported on a ongoing basis (unless the vendor goes belly up). I took a look on directories in places like Google, and it seems there are a load of "chat" scripts and software packages out there.
Picking a software package to run on a website like this always involves getting it to run with the existing hardware (server) and operating system. So, that whittles down the number of possible software packages to a relatively small number.
I would really like to see a few different packages run for a few weeks each, and then we could have a vote to see which package the users prefer.
I would ask the users who have used other "server push" chat software (no software installation required on users' machines) to give the names of those other packages, and their opinions on those packages.

Kelvin,
No. I would be very uncomfortable doing that, although I have been asked many times. There is plenty of that sort of thing available, my contribution wouldn't matter much, I think.

Hi Emma!
It's a long long story.... lol. I was looking for information on cramping and diareah, which I used to get something awful. I stumbled onto a page at Bianca's web site called The Flow Forum, where men and women were actually posting questions and discussing periods - and sex. It was weird. They turned out to be a fairly 'nromal' bunch of people with this one kinky area of interest. I guess I got hooked on the community aspect of it all. After a few years, I ended up moderating the forum there. The site was getting run over and trashed by kids and weirdos who had heard about it on the radio. I guess we tried to clean it up, with limited success. The site had problems with controls and software and everything else. It just got so bad the Forum wasn't working - so I took a big breath, and opened this place, just to keep the community alive.
I never wanted to run a menstruation site! It just happened. Since I had the baby, I don't even menstruate. So I should resign! Just kidding. Wanna take over? lol.

Wow it is so good to hear from you. We had some wack times huh? lol. Yah we abandoned the old place quite a while ago. I had hoped everyone had gotten the message before we packed up and left. It was just so bad there. Me and Cath are doing fine, things are unpredictable lately and we like it that way, lol. Susu is three months already, she changes so fast I swear it happens when my back is turned. She makes the funniest faces, she really reacts to what's going on around her now. She's so much fun...I hope it lasts, lol. Its really true, you have two lives - before kids, and after kids. I wouldn't go back for anything.
So check in sometimes!!! Miss you. Take care, hope all is well and you are happy and healthy!! "Eek..." that was a great group.. hehehe.

Thanks for those very sensitive comments... you know, I'm so used to trying to defend myself, I forget sometimes that the best thing to do is live your life, be happy, do no harm. Pretty much the stuff our mothers always told us.
We're not so different. But I do thank you. I was very touched by your note.

Hi Kelvin,
yes, I rarely check the guest book. It's not a place for conversations, its just a place to make a short comment, or complaint, or observation.
You can ask anything on the Forum. That's what its for! :)

Hi Kelvin,
You can ask me anything at all about my period, and you can ask it on the forum. I'm very comfortable talking about it. If you have questions about something other than menstruation, maybe it's best to ask them here on the guestbook page. Again, I'm happy to answer whatever you ask, if I can.

Hey Simon!
No problem. I know things get ugly sometimes. Back in the Bianca days, we had to sit and take it. No options. It takes a while but
eventually we either drive them off from boredom, or by ignoring them, or by making their posting experience so difficult that
they give up. I hate banning people outfight but some people only get the message when you drop a rock on them... lol. Oh well.
Glad you stuck it out. Now put it away again. hehehe.

Hi Kayo, I just wanted to apologise for going off at some of the idiots who have been trying to run the place recently. Glad to see that you've removed some of the most unpleasant rubbish although I really take exception to some of the comments of "redisthecolorofyummy" which are racist and hurtful.
I know that I really should know better than to feed the trolls but the way I saw it, one person was acting like he suddenly ran the show by posing as several different posters, sucking up to Mickie and the other gremlins and jumping down the throats of anyone he didn't like with some shockingly vile posts, particularly in reference to Trixie and Furry Girl.
I'd perfectly understand if you are wondering who the hell I am, well I've mostly always been a lurker round here but have been in since the beginning of the original TFF, remember the XWorld IRC chats from years ago? I always used my name Simon from the UK even back then.
Anyhoo.... totally heartfelt congratulations to you both and I just know that Susu is going to have 2 of the coolest parents in the playground! hehe. The first few days are always the hardest but it does settle down, I promise! Hang in there and talk to you soon.
Kind Regards,
Simon.

What a great site this is. But can i give u some advice? (It,s ok if u don,t agree.) I think the background colour (dark yellow) not suitable for the theme, why don,t u try a more feminine, soft color? For example perhaps pink, white.. (It,s the tampon or pad color isn't it?)
Hey is it ok if i ask u about period? Where i must write it? in the
guestbook or straight to the forum?
Thanks

I am weary beyond expression of incivility. I understand that spam is an intolerable nuisance, but the need of a few of our posters to shout SPAM the instant that on topic content is not immediately recognizable on a page, or worse, to begin a diatribe about the stupidity of the poster, destroys much of the pleasure I find in coming here. Worse, it discourages others from posting.
I realize that there is not much anyone can do about this. Surely this forum cannot attempt to teach civility to the uncivilized, nor to make the insensitive realize that there are real human beings on the otherside of their keyboard reading what they type and potentially hurt by it.
Still, I wish there were some way to deal with this annoyance. Frankly, I probably have a skewed view of the situation because I am generally less interested in the pictures than in the conversation, and I believe that conversation benefits from reasoned discussion and not from unthinking epithets. It might, perhaps, help if when presented by such vituperation, the more mature of us could refrain from responding in kind, and instead ignore it, or perhaps simply write "I would be happy to discuss this with you when you are prepared to do so civilly." In any event, thank you for listening.
Obligatory Off Topic Content:
I was angry with my friend;
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I waterd it in fears,
Night & morning with my tears:
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine.
And into my garden stole.
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see,
My foe outstretchd beneath the tree.

re: Banning
I ban people as a last resort. If someone makes a mistake, I let it go. The other board visitors usually let the person know how things are supposed to work.
I don't have a lot of rules.
What I hate, and can't tolerate, is people who try to ruin things for other people. They gain nothing, and piss off everyone else. To me, that's a sign of real immaturity. It makes me think that maybe the person is underage, or at least not old enough to appreciate having free access to an adult forum.
So, no. I will not unban anyone, unless I am told to by the owners of DCJ. Then I will do it gladly and without argument. But I will ban that person again if they persist in trying to flood the forum, or start arguments with the other visitors.

I may post to the main board for old times' sake. I still have very pleasant memories of the "Golden Age" on the old Bianca forum before all the trouble began. And the very entertaining IRQ chats!

Hi Charlie!
Thanks! I think the site works because we've been lucky to have a few regulars who really enjoy talking about periods and contribute. I wish there were more women but I've learned over the years that we all deal with periods our own way. There really isn't any formula I could use to get more women here. Sometimes I think a man could deal with some of the ickier subjects better than I could, but I just let those things go when I can and I don't comment on them.
So invite some friends! lol. Thanks for writing!! And thank Tuna for me!

Hi Feminax!
lol! yeah really!
I'm too busy doing cheerful things to take a magnifying glass to every word posted by someone to see why they did it. But I especially dislike people who point out other people's faults in excrutiatingly condescending detail. All I see when I read stuff like that is "I'm better than yooo-oooo, I'm better than yooo-ooooo".
I guess it's like picking at a scab. It hurts, it gets it infected, and it just gets uglier all the time. But some people just have to pick at it. I figure, wash it a little bit, leave it alone, and it goes away. And that's all the attention it gets from me. hehehehe

WOW!, have you got a collection of grumpy old men, or are you just the nurse looking after the patients in one flew over the cuckoos nest?. Poor You. You tell them not to do it, & they still do, I ignore them, & still they wo`nt go away. Drop it, forget it, move on, ignore it, leave it & still there are those who just do`nt GET IT or the message. Can`t some people take a joke?. Why oh why do people persist in opening up & reading my mail (other people`s mail), if they can`t handle or rationalise what`s in there. I guess I must be hiding some kind of addictive drug in the envelope, cos I have no other explanation. Any comment?.

Hi Bill!
Well, thank you, that's one of the nicest things I've read in a long time, hehehe. I think that even when you don't want it to happen you just develop certain relationships with people on the internet. I was always very careful not to say anything that would make people think I was flirting or anything, but even *I* end up with feelings for certain people. It just happens. In a way it makes it a little more human I guess, sitting in front of a monitor. And that's ok too. :)
take care, thanks for writing!

First, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Words are pretty inadequate for such things. No one, not even someone who has gone through something like this, knows what it's like for you.
I hope time and patience will be on your side. The really sad thing about having feelings is that hurt is one of them. I guess that's the price we pay for being alive and loving someone. But it's worth it, isn't it? Take care!!!

Hi Dan!
So, a lurker from way back huh! lol
It's so hard for me to beleive, 1996 seems like forever ago. I remember when you could visit the site "once a week" and catch up on the 5 or 6 new messages. Having a regular conversation was like, impossible. But we did it, somehow. Sometimes I really miss the closeness of the early group... and then I remember how impossible it was to stop people from trashing the place from time to time. I'n actually a lot happier here at DCJ and if Bianca's site ever got back up and running I think I would have a real hard time making the switch back. I'm not worrying about it! lol.
It's great to see you back. Did you post under this name back then? I don't remember a 'Dan' (sorry if you did! So many posts...so many...). Welcome back for sure! Take care!

The short answer is no. Member pages are password protected for a reason. If a member wants to let someone maintain their pages, they need to furnish the password to that person, plain and simple.
Other than trying to email Mickie, there isn't much you can do. Spam on your own board is another matter, and very easy to deal with. I usually ban certain words rather than trying to ban ISPs, which can trap a lot of innocent people in the process. Spammers are trying to promote websites, so you can effectively kick them off your board by banning the main word or words in their site. It will take a while to capture all their sites, but you can do it. I still get some from most of the major offenders can't get in any more. Good luck!

Hi Kayo,
I've tried several times to post the message below in the main forum but kept getting "Internal Server Error" messages when I've tried, Sigh. So anyway, hoping you don't mind, I'm posting it here for the group.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hi All,
I'm a paid-member of the "Too Blue" section at Project Voyeur (http://www.projectvoyeur.com/subs.htm) and today they posted a double set of crotch shots of a nice Brazilian lady showing her fresh, unstained tampon string. Since it cost $25 a year to join the Too Blue section and since these are maybe the second or third menstrual series I've ever seen posted there (i.e., not worth a membership just for the string or period photos), I decided to play pirate a little bit and make them available to the members here at FFII; just click on the link below to see the free photos at the GeoCities site I just created for this purpose.
Better act with all due dispatch; GeoCities normally immediately deletes these kinds of photo sites once they find out about them, Enjoy!

Kayo, I saw this web based chat that I think is connected to IRC. I don't understand how this works but I was wondering if you could check it out when you have a chance. If it would work for our little group, we may be able to get a larger chat going at regular times. The following are the instructions as I saw them on another board:
For the guys and girls having trouble getting onto IRC, goto the link below, Choose a nickname, change the Channel to #gynboard and click connect now!

Thanks, Bubba

I looked into it. Not sure why but the software is grabbing all cache.proxy.aol posts. I have dropped down the level on that one, hopefully you can get on the forum now. Sorry bout that...it wasn't directed at you.

Thanks Steve!
Yep, people come and go. I think it just gets boring for people after a while. I mean, it's a pretty limited subject.
The other thing is, a lot of women don't like to post in a public form, they are much more comfortable in a smaller group. I also had some reluctance in the beginning...the thought that maybe 50,000 people or so would see what I wrote. It makes you think. It has nothing to do with having a nickname or being anonymous....when you post your real feelings and experiences, it's a part of YOU out there, and it can be intimidating to have people comment back at you about such personal things.
A lot of women used to come to the IRC chat, and we had some very intimate and informative chats over the years. Those women told me many times they felt more comfortable in a one-on-one. They were hetero women too, so it's nothing personal, and definitely nothing funny going on. I was happy to listen and they were happy to talk... and that's fine with me! Maybe we can get back to that sometime.
And no, I don't think any of this will ever find it's way to my resume.... unless I'm applying for sanctuary in the long-term psycho ward... heheh.

Hi Kayo,
I probably am (or hoping I am) reflecting the thoughts of a lot of people when I thank you for taking the time to run TFFII - on the second go-around. I have been visiting TFF just about every day since 1997, and I am not entirely sure why? :) Actually, TFF does help to satisfy my mild menstruation interest / fetish and while some topics get repeated endlessly - frequently a thread starts that is really serious, interesting and downright kewl. Hey - did I steal that spelling? :)
One thing that I have noticed over the last few years at TFF is a lack of continuity in terms of posters - a few regulars such as Jada and Indy and Pixel Pete excluded. It appears that TFF gets a new (pardon the pun) flood of nre people and then they vanish. Perhaps this is because people change handles more often than at other sites? I hope to post a lot more anecdotes about my rudimentary adventures in menstrual sex.
Thanks for all your great work!
ps. I wonder if you put your TFF moderation on your resume? If so, is that "pad-ing" your resume?

thanks for the nice comments, Jan!
I think more women are horny during their periods than care to admit it. Too bad for them! lol
