My credit card was rejected. Now what?
If for some reason CCBill doesn't accept your credit card, try a different card, or the online check feature. CCBill collects funds for lots of "adult" sites, and your card number may have been put on a "auto reject" list if you have ever asked for a refund from CCBill. Please note, if you made a payment and something went wrong, you need to contact CCbill for a refund or correction. We have no access to that part of the process!!

Why didn't it work when we tried to set up two forums on the same day on the same credit card?
Our credit card acceptance company deals with all sorts of "adult" pay sites that require a membership. The minimum "membership" for such a site is 3 days. That eliminates the number of charges they have to run thru the system. However, that does present a problem for us since our memberships are for 1 year. If you want/need two forums, you either have to set them up separately, use a second credit card, and "ID" (signup) or use CCBill online check service. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is beyond our control.
NOTE: CCBill does NOT make allowances for more than one account with them! If you want two memberships or have two (paid for with a different system) you CAN NOT make payments for two boards! You will need to use a different user name and possibly a different credit card or online check. If CCBill is a problem, we DO have other avenues! You can contact
members@dotcomjunkies.com for an address to mail a money order. However, we prefer online payments!

Why do you have a "logout" selection on the login
screen?
Yes, there is a logout button on the login screen because you should log out if your computer access is on a public/shared computer. The handle information is stored in a cookie, and remains in your cache unless you log out. If you don't share your computer, it's not really necessary to log out. Cookies do expire - you'll need to log in next time you come to DotComJunkies.

How can I get the
by my handle?
The
is the identification of a paying member of DotComJunkies. ALL visitors at DotComJunkies can register a unique handle that no one else can use, but the paying members are identified by
. Please note, not all members us their boards/pages. Membership makes these pages available to them but does not require them to be used!We now have the option of a "paid" handle only (no board) which give you a handle Icon, and the handle won't expire for 1 year. That means if you don't log in at least monthly, the handle will remain. To puchase a year handle only,

How do I register a handle?
To register a unique handle, go
here,
enter a handle and password and click on "submit". At that point, you will be e-mailed a password. You will not receive a password if you entered the wrong e-mail address! This temporary password is only good for about
48 hours (2 days). If you don't login in that amount of time, your handle is deleted. You may re-register it at anytime (as long as it's still available). Once you have your handle and pw, click on EDIT YOUR HANDLE to change your password and font attributes. After selecting the attributes you wish, click on "submit" at the bottom of the page. the page will refresh and you will be able to see the changes you've made. If you like what you see, click "accept". From then on, all you need to do is LOGIN and your handle will be automatically displayed in the "name" box of any forum you wish to post in (even if it does not show - it's there... really - it is! We also have an option (right under your handle on the editor page) for listing or not listing your handle in the Handle Directory.
We have given member handle the ability to change icons beside their handle. If you would like to have a handle (no board) that won't expire for a year, click here (Please log in with your handle first!)

All about cookies.
We are using cookies to store your handle. The password is not stored in your cookie but in a file on the server. If you use the login procedure at this site more than 20 times without closing your browser(s), then you may find your handle becomes inactive. To correct this problem, just close all open browsers, then open them and try to login again. Cookies given to you by this site are not persistent cookies. In other words, they will disappear as soon as you close all of your open browsers.
After doing a lot of research, We've found cookies given to you by Java scripts might be capable of being stolen by other Java scripts. This might be where the myth about cookies started, but we are giving you a cookie using a CGI script. Again, it only has your handle stored in it, and it can't be tampered with by any other web site.
If you like, you can read more about cookies from our Big Brother here.

Explain your refund policy.
It is CCBill's policy to: "process a refund 'on the spot' for any end-user that contacts our Customer Service Inquiry Center, reporting a fraudulent use of the credit card, an unauthorized user (underage children) or duplicate charges on their statement. In most cases, these refunds automatically place the credit card number into CCill's negative database, disabling them from future use with any site using CCill's services." We have no control over this action by CCBill. We can not issue a refund by any other means at this time.

Where can I get HTML help?
We have an HTML help board, but the board is seldom used, though it's checked regularly.
There are also a couple of other tech boards here: Tech Boards or you can ask questions in the Suggestion Board.

I tried to log in, but now I'm locked out. Please explain!
You have five chances to correctly log in. If you make 5 errors, you are locked out of loging in WITH ANY HANDLE!! (The lockout is based on your IP address!) The log page will not let you login on the same IP until either the file is cleared by a Gremlin by hand, or is automatically cleared at Midnight GMT. Please be careful with cut and pasting your password. If it fails once, don't re-paste the same thing again (even a space at the end of the password will make it fail!)

About Support e-mail
We have discontinued the support e-mail due to high levels of spam. Please post in the suggestion board or ask a Member to post the request in the Members Only board for you.

One of my posters has lost his/her password. Can you help?
Yes. Please post the user's name in the Members_Only board. Unfortunately we will NOT post the information, nor e-mail you (the member) with that info. What we WILL do is look up the poster's handle, verify it does exist, and e-mail a new password to the e-mail addressed used when requesting the handle. If their e-mail address has changed, there's nothing we can do for them. They will have to create another handle, or wait for this one to expire. Sorry Folks!
