Subject: So will this change things?

As some of you may know, a Democratic supporter of Hillary Clinton's Philip Berg (Attorney and former Deputy Attorney General of PA) has brought a lawsuit stating that Obama is not a US citizen and therefor can not be President of the US.

Here is a video of his claims (and I urge you to watch this, this is a well put together argument- I am not saying this is definitive proof or not, but this guy is lucid and thoughtful about his case):

The case was thrown out by a Disctrict Court on the grounds that he did not have "legal standing" to bring the case.

He recently filed a Writ of Certiorari with the Supreme Court to have this case heard. It appears Justice Souter has given the parties until December 1 to answer.

FYI Berg's Writ can be found here:

I find this case fascinating. I am nervous that should the Supreme Court find that Obama can not be POTUS the chaos that would ensue would be astonishing.

That said, is this, as one of my friends suggested, simply a "technicality" that should be ignored? My response was that should Free Speach or the 2nd Amendment be viewed as items to be enforced and protected only when it is convenient?

What would the electors, who meet (I think) December 19, do if Obama is found not to be a natural born citizen? Would they have an obligation to the Constitution to not ceretify Obama?

Have you paid any attention to this? What do you think is likely to happen?

My dislike for Obama as a political candidate are pretty well known, but that said I really hope he provides the evidentiary support to prove that he is in fact a natural born citizen. I am really worried about anything other than that be it chaos if the Court determines to invalidate his election or chooses to simply ignore the Constitution to allow it.

How do you feel?
